WHO ARE WE?
God Life Ministries is a Pentecostal church focusing on the teaching and preaching of the God’s word, the Bible, for the edification of the body of Christ and the good of mankind.
WHAT WE DO
We hold weekly worship services on Sundays as well as weekly cell group meetings and prayer meetings. We also provide community outreach programmes, a daily devotional & music school.

Statement of Belief
We Believe:
The Bible: We believe that the Bible is the inspired & infallible Word of God, written by holy men who were moved by the Spirit of God (1 Peter 1:16). The Bible is the complete revelation of God to man for all matters concerning instruction, doctrine, correction and reproof (2 Timothy 3:16; Revelation 22:18-19).
God: is One and manifests in three persons: God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit. This is known as the doctrine of the trinity which is evident through a diligent study of the Bible and when we compare scripture with scripture (e.g. Genesis 1:1,2, 14, Job 32:6, John 1:1&2). The persons of the Godhead are co-equal (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus: is the Son of God, begotten, not created. Who existed before creation (John 1:1; John 8:58) and who took on flesh (Luke 1:35) to redeem mankind from eternal damnation. Though without sin, Jesus died on the cross (Hebrews 9:22; 1 Peter 1:19-20) as a vicarious offering for mankind’s sin.
The Holy Spirit: is third person of the Godhead (2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19). He is the indwelling presence of God received at salvation (John 14:15-17). In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by speaking in tongues (Acts 2:1-4; Matthew 12:34) and which is distinct from the gift of tongues. In the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:16,17); which is the effect of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit on the character of the believer as we yield to God. In the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11); which are a manifestation of the Holy Spirit for the benefit of the whole church.
Man: is created in God’s image (Genesis 1:22). Man has a spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Man fell in the Garden of Eden (Romans 5:12), the consequences of which were mankind’s inherent sinfulness, inability to save himself (Romans 3:10) and eternal damnation (Hebrews 9:27). Salvation is because of faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:5-10) and not by works (our good deeds). In the resurrection and judgement of the dead either to eternity with God in heaven (John 14:2) or eternity separated from God (Revelation 20:11-15).
The Church: That Jesus is the head of the worldwide Church (Ephesians 5:23), which is His body and is comprised of believers of all nations, races and peoples (Ephesians 5:23). The purpose of the Church includes fellowship, the instruction in and application of how to love one another (John 13:34-35; Hebrews 10:24-25) and equipping believers for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16).

The Second Coming of Jesus: Otherwise known as the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-19) which will occur before a seven-year period of worldwide tribulation (Revelation 7:9-17), the midpoint of which will be marked by the desecration of the Third Temple in Jerusalem (Matthew 24:15-22; Mark 13:14-20) and end with Jesus’ physical return to earth (Acts 1:9-11; Matthew 24:29-31; Mark 13:24-27).
Marriage: Is an institution ordained by God (Genesis 2:24) between a biological male and biological female the purposes of which include intimacy (Genesis 2:18), procreation (Genesis 1:26-28), practically demonstrating the love of God (Ephesians 5:25) and the raising of godly offspring (Malachi 2:13-15) for the good of society and mankind in general.
Holiness: Is a Biblical injunction (1 Peter 1:15), without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Holiness is a progressive work which begins at salvation and culminates when Jesus returns (1 John 3:2-3). Sanctification is the process of achieving holiness (Hebrews 10:14; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4).
